Medialab Solutions is the charming little Dutch company that created and develops AquaBrowser. A wholly-owned subsidiary of R.R. Bowker, Medialab has taken AquaBrowser from its early steps as a search engine to being the world leading visual search tool for libraries in just a few years.

Medialab Solutions entered the library search market in 2002. After gaining over 80% of the Dutch library market, AquaBrowser was implemented on the first US public library in January of 2005.

Today there are over 250 library systems in the United States alone benefiting from AquaBrowser (and 400 worldwide). With over 2,000 libraries around the world using this unique visual interface, we are number one. AquaBrowser was the first unified discovery interface on the market and has only gotten better over time.

My Discoveries is the social library experience which debuted in AquaBrowser in 2007. It sets the stage for the future by providing a real platform for interaction between the library user and the collection. Librarians and patrons can add their own reviews, ratings and tags to any item in the library.
